Front Office Manager Job Description in hospital


 








Department Goal:-

The purpose of the department is to ensure that all visitors coming to the hospital are looked after promptly, given appropriate information and their problems are sorted out with the minimum problem.

 

Position goal:-

To ensure proper functioning of the front office and to monitor all activities related to the department.

 

Duties

  • Will co – ordination with AMS – FO to implement the policies and procedures
  • Will streamlining all front office operations
  • Monitoring and redesign of systems when required.
  • Will monitor the behavioral development of front office staff.
  • Co-ordination with different departments for smooth patient flow.
  • Will ensure the functioning of Admission & Discharge done smoothly & quickly
  • Will monitoring of front office infrastructure needs and act accordingly.
  • Will ensure that all records are maintained at front office.
  • Will monitor the neatness and security of front office area.
  • Taking care of all VIP movements.
  • Will share the job profile of staff – for each level to be made clear to them
  • Coordinating with quality team & implementation of departmental SOP’s.
  • Monitor the coordinating with the wards for the discharges
  • Comply with Govt. rules & regulations
