FRONT OFFICE IN CHARGE Job Description
The following will be the duties and responsibilities of
Front Office in charge:
1.
Assigning duties to the
front office staff, responsible for making the duty rosters; sanction of
leaves; appraisal etc.
2.
Achieving the highest
standards of customer / patient care.
3.
Managing internal
customer/external customer relations.
4.
Development and continuous
revision of guidelines for reception, registration, admission, billing, report
delivery and other activities.
5.
Monitoring and redesigning
of systems when required.
6.
Behavioural development of
front office staff.
7.
Co-ordination with different
departments for smooth patient flow.
8.
Development of internal
performance benchmark to monitor customer/ patient care delivery.
9.
Monitoring of front office
infrastructure needs.
10. Preparation
of complaint handling and patient’s feedback report weekly.
11. Co-ordination
with accounts department for billing activities of patients.
12. Co-ordination
with other departments for timely delivery of reports.
13. Responsible
for cleanliness and security of front office area.
