Bio - Medical Engineer Job Description

 Duties & Responsibilities: 

 

• Ensure daily departmental round (OT, CSSD, ICU, Dialysis, Endoscopy, HDU, Labor Room, OPD, Nursing stations, Emergency, Procedure Room, X Ray, TMT, CT, USG, RO plant, Gas Manifold Room, Laboratory and Ambulance – BLS) to ensure proper functioning of bio medical equipments.
• To address problems related to Bio Medical Equipment In House.
• To coordinate with vendors, in case of outside service for any equipment is required.
• To participate in purchase process of Bio Medical equipments.
• To ensure AMC of equipments.
• To ensure timely calibration of all relevant equipment.
• To ensure Preventive and Breakdown Plan for all equipment.
• To ensure proper replacement and disposal of Bio Medical equipment.
• To maintain log book for all Bio Medical equipment.
• To ensure proper safety program for employees.
• To ensure proper training to employees related to safe and proper handling of Bio Medical Equipment.
• To ensure proper maintenance of required and essential documentation.
• To ensure timely submission of required quality indicators i.e. Equipment down time and Equipment Utilization Rates.
• Any other task related to Bio Medical Engineering as assigned by Management.
